It is with deep sadness that we report the death of Bennie Hill (Class of 2011) on Sunday, January 25, 2009. Bennie's wife, Valerie, has expressed her thanks for the concern, prayers, and calls she has received these past months. Please remember her and her family in your prayers. May light eternal shine on Bennie. 

Rob Patton (Class of 2009) was just released from the hospital Jan. 20, 2009 after an accumulated 19 days over the past two months and three stays. He's been recovering from a pulmonary embolism which occurred two weeks before Christmas. As if that weren't enough, his computer got a bug, too, and many files and applications were lost. Rob could use your prayers and good thoughts. May God strengthen and heal Rob's body and grant him patience to deal with the loss of his writing.

We've received an update from Paul Matheson (Class of 2010). Paul was diagnosed with colon cancer and successfully underwent surgery on Monday, November 17th. Thanks be to God!. Paul writes, "They removed some lymph nodes during surgery and sent them away for testing. The results came back showing no sign of cancer in the lymph system." He further said " I can't tell you how much it meant to be surrounded by so many who care about my life. Please express my thanks to all who have had a part in this." Please continue to remember Paul in your prayers during these days of recovery. May God embrace Paul as he continues to heal and grant him strength of body and faith.
